Have you ever experienced a time when someone assumed you were not capable? For non-speakers, experiences like this are not just an isolated bad memory but an everyday reality. Their intelligence is underestimated because their bodies don’t move like they want them to. There is hope! And there are proven ways I can help your non-speaker gain enough control to point to letters on a board and spell out their thoughts. With guidance and consistent practice, I help them build new neural pathways. By first PRESUMING COMPETENCE in my students, their frustration turns into expression and together we unlock the brilliance of their minds.
